Southwest General Hospice
Strongsville, Middleburg Hts, Brookpark and Berea
The goal of hospice is to provide terminally ill patients with the support and resources needed to continue an alert, pain-free life and to manage other symptoms so that their last days may be spent with dignity and quality, surrounded by their loved ones.
Hospice Services of Southwest General started in 1987, and in 2003, Southwest General opened The Thomas P. Perciak Family Residential Hospice. We provide state-of-the-art hospice care for patients in their actual dwellings or nursing homes or assisted living apartments. For urgent needs in the home, 24-hour on-call staff is available. Additionally, our hospice program includes 24-hour medical supervision for symptom relief at our 10-bed residential facility, in Strongsville. This is most often a short-term stay for those with a specific symptomatic need.
